The White Castle Duel Board Game

The White Castle Duel Board Game is a two-player game in which clans compete for control of foreign trade and technology in the White Heron's court, part of the iconic Himeji Castle, while managing resources and building engines.

Trading with newly arrived Portuguese travelers is a key part of The White Castle Duel Board Game and although it contains very different mechanics than the original game, it maintains the look and feel of the line.

On each turn, players will use their lamp tokens to obtain resources and activate actions. Among the actions available, it's possible to buy and upgrade influence cards, place clan seals on gardens and training grounds, move courtiers between circles of influence, or trade with the Portuguese.

These actions will allow the players to accumulate a series of icons - flags, katanas, kabutos, and origami figures - that will reward with points, and whoever ends up with the most points wins.
